How to Set Intentions

Have you set an intention for yourself this week?

This month? This year?

Intentions help us be mindful about how we want to show up: show up at work, in our relationships, for ourselves…

What kind of experiences do you want to have by the end of the week?

What will help you grow?

What is going to help you feel more at peace and balanced this week?

Refer to the balance wheel and make note of where your attention is most needed:

To help me be aware of my own intentions, I like to start my meditations with the 4 Soul Questions.

Try asking yourself these questions next time you have a moment to indulge in the quiet of your mind:

Who am I?

What do I want?

What am I grateful for?

What is my purpose?

Looking ahead, what is it you want and need? How can you ensure you're taking the right steps to get there?

The rush of the holiday season is right around the corner so it's important to be intentional about how we imagine the rest of the year going before we get swept along.

If you're already having heart-palpitations thinking about it (I know… how is it already here again?!), take a breath.

Consider taking just 1 day for yourself.

8 whole hours.

No emails to be answered. No children to be carpooled. No lunches to be made.

A day just for you.

Get more 'me' time on your own time.

My free virtual mini-retreat is an hour-long relaxation session focused on rebalancing your mind & body through Ayurvedic and self-analytic techniques.

All my best,

Jamie
