OUR  FOUNDER

Hi there! I’m Jamie.

Hi there! I’m Jamie.

How do I know integrating psychoanalysis with mindbody techniques is the key to finding balance and purpose? Well, because these techniques have not only helped me, but hundreds of my clients and patients!

When I started my career, I didn’t know what I wanted to be when I grew up. In my earlier years, I navigated trauma, depression, and a nagging feeling that I was meant for something more but I didn’t know what. It wasn’t until my late twenties, and after the birth of my first child, that I finally decided to pursue a field that I was truly passionate about.

Once I dipped my toes in the world of psychology, I knew I was in the right place. From becoming a licensed clinical social worker, opening a private practice, pursuing specialized training to be a board-certified psychoanalyst, to now teaching and supervising others, my guiding passion has always been to help others understand themselves better.

But even after becoming one of the most sought after experts in my field,  everything I knew couldn’t prepare me for what life sent my way.

From health scares to nearly losing one of my children, I quickly realized that just knowing myself wasn’t enough. I needed to find balance. I needed to find peace.

I found myself on an ayurvedic retreat in California, and my life changed again. It was the missing piece. The ayurvedic lifestyle so beautifully encapsulated everything my clinical training had taught me with a holistic approach to full mind/body wellness. Pursuing a certification in ayurvedic lifestyle instruction was the next step in my journey.

In 2019, I started Windows to Wisdom as a way to share my combined knowledge from an extensive career in psychoanalysis and my personal journey through Ayurvedic living. My mission has always been to help psychologically-minded, motivated, professional women, illuminate their minds, uncover their true purpose, unlock success, find balance, and experience peace.

Here’s what my journey has looked like so far...
